On the BSc (Hons) Live Event Technology degree you will develop high levels of technical skill and industry knowledge in event technology, including:
- Lighting technology for theatre, music concerts and festivals, corporate and TV
- Sound technology for concerts and tours, broadcast and theatre, commercial installation, themed attractions
- Video technology for corporate, TV and broadcast, large scale event video (LED screens etc)
- Rigging for theatre, festivals and events, corporate
The Live Event Technology degree also teaches you all the other disciplines you will need in industry including:
- 17th edition wiring regulations
- Health and safety legislation
- Taught classes in industry standard software such as Autocad, WYSIWYG, Protools and offline console editors
- Business and project management
- Electrical and electronic fundamentals
