Mike Greenway OBE, from EADS Defence Systems, and Vice Chair of the e-skills UK Welsh Employer Forum, said:
“To ensure that graduates going into IT careers have the skills that employers require, it is vital that industry and higher education work closely together, and e-skills UK’s ITMB degree is a great example of this in practice. On behalf of EADS Defence Systems, and the e-skills UK Welsh Employer Forum, I’m delighted to be supporting ITMB, and look forward to working with e-skills UK and the University of Glamorgan to ensure that we create a highly skilled IT professional workforce in Wales, that can drive productivity in the local economy through delivering high value technology solutions for business.”
In response to a survey of employers Ray Snowdon of e-skills UK commented:
“The continuing strong employer backing for the ITMB programme supports the view that graduates exiting from the ITMB programme are highly employable and have developed a skill set which is perceived highly relevant by the IT industry.”
