The HND in Computer Games Development focuses on the technical aspects of game development, specifically programming, rather than the artistic side. In the first year you will study simple game programming along with maths, game design and game modding. In game modding you will have experience of 3D modelling in 3DS Max. In the second year you will do C++ programming (the industry standard language), web game development, further programming, and a project.

You will spend 16 hours each week in lectures, tutorials and practical sessions. You will also spend four hours per week, per module, on coursework, general reading and other preparation.
